How many hours could you get back each month?

Enter what your research process costs you in time today. The math is yours: every multiplier below is an assumption you can edit, and the formula is printed in full — no benchmarks, no averages, no claims about anyone else's results.

Step 1

Your current process (per typical week)

Reading, scanning, note-taking — hours per week.

hours / week

Strategies you test by hand each week.

strategies / week

Symbols you check manually each week.

symbols

Step 2

Your assumptions (edit these — they are yours)

Share of your manual research the platform could do for you. Assumption — set it to what you believe.

0 – 1 (share)

Share of manual backtest time saved by running templates on two engines. Assumption — yours to set.

0 – 1 (share)

How long one manual backtest takes you today.

hours / strategy

Minutes per week spent checking each symbol by hand.

minutes / symbol / week

The formula

Every number, shown in full

research_h/wk = research_h/wk × research_factor

backtest_h/wk = strategies/wk × hours_per_strategy × backtest_factor

watchlist_h/wk = symbols × minutes_per_symbol / 60

hours_saved/month = (research_h/wk + backtest_h/wk + watchlist_h/wk) × 4.33

  • 4.33 is the average number of weeks per month (365.25 ÷ 12 ÷ 7) — the only constant on this page.
  • research_factor and backtest_factor are your assumptions, editable in step 2. They default to 0.50 and 0.70 so the page shows a worked example — change them to whatever you actually believe.
  • The result scales linearly with your inputs: halve your inputs or your factors and the estimate halves with them.
This calculator performs arithmetic on your inputs. It is not a performance claim, a projection, or investment advice — the only thing it can measure is the time you tell it you spend.

See which of those hours the platform actually takes back — two backtest engines, 129 templates, and validation built in.
